In this podcast, Dr. Jean Solodiuk reviews approaches to the recognition and assessment of pain in children with intellectual disability. Dr. Solodiuk describes ways to define and measure pain in an individualized fashion, discusses collaborative approaches to pain management involving caregivers, and illustrates these principles using case examples.
