Friends of the Rosary:
The central belief of our faith is the Resurrection. Nothing in this valley of tears would make sense without the Resurrection. The mystery of human life is summarized in the Cross and the Resurrection.
Life is eternal, and we model it in imitation of the Son of God who came to earth to suffer with us. Jesus revealed the whole truth of human existence, but in our unrighteousness, we didn’t believe Him.
When you suffer a big loss — my wife in my case — it’s the time to decide. St Paul, in the reading today (1 Cor 15:3-8, 11), recounts how Jesus was raised on the third day in accordance to the Scriptures and to how many people He appeared.
