Description
Friends of the Rosary:
Scholars from Harvard University asked in an article this week: “Why does the divine allow suffering and evil to exist in the world?”
But maybe the question should be: Why did the divine allow suffering to his only, beloved Son?
Jesus Christ voluntarily gave his life for all of us, in a ramson payment for our sins, so we all have the chance to be saved.
Instead of second-guessing and judging others’ pain, we should ask suffering people why they freely accept the Cross of Christ?
The quick answer is because imitating Jesus gives them unparalleled peace and joy, and makes them truly free. Not to say that it allows gaining eternal life, with the communion of saints in Heaven.
Those scholars who are used to knowing everything should understand that there are mysteries. And they are called mysteries for a reason. The Cross is a mystery. So is human existence.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
