Description

[Comment: Light of the World]
Friends of the Rosary:
At the beginning of this fourth week of Easter, we reflected upon Jesus Christ as the Good Shepherd.
In today’s reading (Jn 12:44-50), the Lord says: “I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.”
There are different ways to express who is the Son of God: the first resurrected man, the Lamb of God, the suffering man, the friend of the sick and the poor, the merciful prophet, etc.
Jesus is certainly the bread of life, the living water, the transfigured one, and the light of the world.
Each believer identifies himself with one image of Jesus according to his sensibility. All forms are valid.
What’s striking for our limited understanding is how Jesus — and His divine Mother — are able to take care of every single one.
When we see a flock, we think that all sheep are almost the same. For Christ, the Good Shepherd, each soul is unique and He talks to us this way.
Ave Maria! Jesus, I Trust In You!
