Description
[Comment: Gratitude]
Friends of the Rosary,
A passage in the New Testament (Luke 17:11-19) narrates that Jesus healed ten lepers, but only one returned to glorify Him in gratitude.
Picture the scene: Ten lepers lifted their voices saying: “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us”. Moved with pity, the Son of God told them: “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. But only one of them turned back. He wasn’t even a Jew; he was a Samaritan. This leper was cured physically and spiritually because of his faith.
We are self-inflicting a wound when don’t value God’s goodness and grace. It seems that we don’t understand and value the significance of what Jesus Christ has done and is continually doing for us.
To advance in our lives, we always need to show gratitude. Let’s invoke the Most Holy Virgin Mary to help us—and help everyone around us—to be thankful.
Ave Maria!
