Lavelle R. Felton, nicknamed “Velle” and “Romie” (pronunciation unknown) by both family and future teammates, was a driven and athletically gifted young man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His passion for basketball and dedication to fatherhood were cut short by an unsolved murder in the summer of 2009, leaving all who knew him across international basketball leagues and the entirety of his hometown Milwaukee at large grasping for answers in a sea of mysteries that drowned us all in doubt…As a hope to provide more substantial reasoning built upon observable evidence and situational analysis, this is an examination of the death of Lavelle Felton in downtown Milwaukee and the unsettling CCTV footage showcasing his killer, who has yet to be caught to this very day.
