The Extra Credits podcast is hosted by two teachers searching for meaning in your favorite movies and shows. 'Licorice Pizza' is sold as a slice of life story about an odd friendship set in San Fernando Valley, California. However, we argue that writer and director Paul Thomas Anderson is subverting the 'Coming of Age' story arc with this future Oscar nominee.
