The Context of White Supremacy hosts our 11th study session on James Loewen's acclaimed text, Sundown Towns: A Hidden Dimension of American Racism. Loewen, a Suspected Race Soldier, has authored many bestsellers and critically acclaimed history books that use the word "Racism." In addition to Sundown Towns, Loewen's Lies My Teachers Told Me, also examines the ways Whites intentionally conceal their history of brutalizing black people. Mr. Loewen might be aware that we're reading his book with suspicion. Last week's installment provided a number of profound illustrations that corroborate Neely Fuller Jr.'s conclusion that, "White people can't be ignorant about Racism." Loewen cites several Whites who got in serious trouble with other White people for violating the White Supremacist code.
