Description

Lorraine Kelly OBE is a Scottish broadcaster, interviewer and journalist, for over 36 years she has been a stalwart of ITV's Breakfast television coverage, including her own show Lorraine, which is live every weekday morning.

We started our chat by talking to Lorraine about adapting to working during lockdown and the challenges, but also the positive aspects this has brought to broadcasting.

Lorraine tells us about growing up in Glasgow and making her way into journalism in local news, before applying to work at the BBC. We discuss disappointment, something she experienced whilst on maternity leave when she was replaced in her job, and Lorraine reveals to us her worst interview.

Everyone has those difficult blank moments sometimes. Whether in your personal life, career, relationship, or in a public situation, writer's block, social anxiety, imposter syndrome, being off-form or having an identity crisis can affect anyone at any time. It's part of the human condition and yet it can throw us off course and make us feel helpless. Giles Paley-Phillips and Jim Daly host an informal, insightful podcast in which they chat to well-known people from comedy, acting, writing, broadcasting, politics and sports about their careers and how they get through these moments when things aren't going to plan theblankpodcast2018@gmail.com http://twitter.com/blankpod http://instagram.com/blankpod http://facebook.com/blankpod
