Melenie York’s involvement with warehousing and shipping came about from her interest and love of modern and contemporary art funny enough. In the late nineties, She joined a small art book distribution company in New York and took on the position of export sales manager as it grew internationally. Family matters brought her back to Baltimore and she began working as a Logistics Manager for an e-commerce site selling used books. From here, Melenie moved on to working with Whitehouse and Schapiro, a global supplier of secondhand products. Beginning with arranging domestic shipments via over the road carriers, she now oversees all exports and works closely with forwarders, intermodel carriers and provide customer service for our overseas customers.This episode was hosted by Valeria Hernandez, Greg White, and Scott Luton.
