Description

In episode #012, Elizabeth Peace shares her story of recurrent pregnancy loss related to Factor V. She experienced no major complications with her first pregnancy, but had multiple miscarriages before her second child was born. During her pregnancy with her second child, Elizabeth had to use blood thinners daily to prevent clots from forming. She experienced more miscarriages after the birth of her second child. Although she wanted more children, she had to consider her recurrent miscarriages and pain from cysts and fibroids. Elizabeth decided her body was done having children, and she had a hysterectomy.
