Description
Welcome to the introductory episode of Candle Chats, we are so happy to have you here!
Candle Chats is a weekly podcast hosted by long-distance friends Ashley and Diane. Sparked by a shared love of candles and long phone calls, we decided to make our own podcast. Expect bursts of giggles, a fair bit of oversharing, some sass and a healthy dose of candle puns.
We’ll be rating candles based on our own revised version of the marketing principle: triple constraint. The basic concept is that there are three ways things can be done: fast, good and cheap, you can have two of the three but not all three. The same is true of candles. We’ll be looking at the overall aesthetics, price point and characteristics of the candle (how it burns, the throw, what it’s made out of) but that same principle holds true: you will likely only find a candle with two of those characteristics when shopping. We need help naming this principle for candles. If you have any suggestions, send us an email at candlechats@gmail.com or send us a message over on instagram @candlechats.
We want this podcast to be community driven. Have a burning question? A candle rec? Get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!
