Description

In this fifth Dwarf episode, High King Alriksson needs to secure the future of his people following the Great War against Chaos. Calling an assembly of kings he charges the assembled dwarfs to re-enact the glorious sagas of old, the Dwarf with the greatest list of deeds would be his successor. We explore the deeds of the great dwarfen lords and the renewal of racial pride that swells from the populace. In particular, we look at Thorgrim Grudgebearer, cousin to the High King, and the list of deeds and oaths that ultimately leads to his unanimous election as the High King. we then look at how he begins to fulfil his oaths to his people.

A monthly podcast focussing on the lore of the sprawling Warhammer Fantasy universe. With tongues firmly in cheeks we will help you to separate ghouls from goblins, snotlings from skaven stormfiends, and bonesplitters from beastclaw raiders ... this last pair was a test, they’re from Age of Sigmar and not Warhammer. See? Laying Down The Lore is the podcast you didn’t even know you needed! Join Ben and Cral, a couple of self-confessed Warhammer noobs, as they journey into a fantasy institution guided by ageing fanboy Darren as he attempts to distil and summarise 30 years worth of Warhammer knowledge into bite-sized chunks. Informative, irreverent, and largely irrelevant, Laying Down The Lore will come to be your indispensable guide to the world of Warhammer.
