On today's episode, Jason opens things up with a few thoughts on the ugly Monday Night Football game between the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Chargers.  The Chargers lucked into victory for the second consecutive week (this time thanks to a muffed punt in overtime), and were it not for some absolutely horrendous quarterback play from Russell Wilson in the second half and overtime, fans in Los Angeles would be losing their minds this morning. Neither team looked like they deserved to get the win last night, but given how clustered things are at the top of the AFC, we're sure the Chargers will take it. Later, ESPN NBA reporter Dave McMenamin swings by to discuss what the realistic expectations should be this season for the Los Angeles Lakers, why Patrick Beverley is the third most important player on the team behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis, why the team has such high hopes for Kendrick Nunn, why a rumored Russell Westbrook trade to the Indiana Pacers ultimately fell through and whether or not we can expect Russ to finish the season on the roster, what it’s like covering LeBron on a day-to-day basis, and much more!
