Description

Hello, podcast friends and family. And welcome back to another episode of the Back Pain Podcast. So continuing our journey beyond just back pain into the wider realm of musculoskeletal injuries, today we're talking about a very rare cause of shoulder pain. Now Parsonage turn syndrome is a rare cause of shoulder pain and weakness. Also known as brachial neuritis or neuralgic. Amyotrophic is characterised by very, very intense shoulder pain, which lasts for a matter of weeks, which then fades away but is replaced by severe muscle wasting and weakness. Now, this can last for a long period of time, up to two, maybe even three years. And in rare occurrences, in rare instances, it can continue to reoccur.
