Description
Patricia Arquette August continues with a look at a film written by everyone's favorite cinematic plagiarist but not directed by him: True Romance. The film follows two lovers, played by Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette, who are on the run from the cops and the mob all due to a suitcase full of cocaine. While Slater and Arquette are the leads, the film also features a veritable cavalcade of character actors and big-time stars in bit parts that truly elevate the film from great to possibly Tarantino's best. Ought Five Films' Father Malone joins Chris to talk about his personal connection to the film, why we fall in love with certain films, and why Tarantino's best film is only written by him.You can follow Chris Stachiw at @KultureStach and the Kulturecast @kulturecast.
