Description

Patricia Arquette August comes to a close with a look at David Lynch's only collaboration with Patricia Arquette and a film that verges into the Lynchian dreamscape: Lost Highway. The film follows Bill Pullman as Fred Madison, a saxophone player, who not only might have killed his wife, played by Patricia Arquette but also has transformed into a younger man, played by Balthazar Getty. Once changed, Fred/Pete attempts to figure out what has happened to his life and determine who may have murdered his wife. It's a film that can only be described as Lynchian as it focuses on dreams, the id, and psychogenic fugue states. Co-host of the One Season Show and screenwriter Jess Byard joins Chris to talk her love of Lynch, the dreamscape of the film, and Patricia Arquette's usage. You can follow Chris Stachiw at @KultureStach and the Kulturecast @kulturecast.
