This week Floss is joined by the amazing Blair Imani, author of “Read this to get Smarter” and “HerStory - Stories of women and non-binary people rewriting history.” She’s a historian, educator, mental health advocate, speaker and entrepreneur. She’s Black, Bisexual and Muslim and talks a lot about her experience with these identities and how they impact one another. She and Floss chat respectability politics, use Blair’s vast historical knowledge to look at the history of being queer and talk about her journey to finding acceptance in Islam.
