Historically, voter turnout in Philadelphia is low when it comes to local elections. But this one coming up in November is a big one. Philadelphians will be picking a new governor, a new U.S. senator, and more. So how do you convince folks to show up to the polls? You’re going to want to mark your calendars with these important election deadlines!

The last day to register to vote in the 2022 election is Oct. 24. 

The last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot is Nov. 1. 

This year’s general election is Nov. 8. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
