Description
2022's The Season of Spoop™ (TM TM TM!) begins! This year, the Spoop Bois tackle "cursed objects" for their horror cinematic theme. To begin, the great Shelby Scott (creator and host of "Scare You To Sleep" podcast) returns to the podcast to discuss 1983's killer car flick "Christine" directed by John Carpenter and based off the Stephen King novel. They briefly talk about the nature of cursed objects, the idea of obsession with stuff, and identity through the things we own and collect. They also get into some of the differences between the film adaptation and book, Carpenter's stylistic influence and filmmaking on the story, and many other aspects about the movie. Derek has a voracious appetite. Aaron can be a beautiful thing. Shelby has no care in the world except for Christine.
