Aaron and Derek conclude 2023's "Season of Spoop" on urban legend themed films by discussing 1999's supernatural found footage horror movie "The Blair Witch Project" with guest and friend of the show Lauren Willson! They talk about the late-90s cultural phenomena surrounding the film's release, the wild mass marketing campaign, and its influence on modern found footage horror. They also get into whether or not the quality of the actual filmmaking holds up, the horrors of being lost in the woods, the insane franchise swings, and many other aspects of the movie.
