Description
This offseason has provided some unique challenges for all of the teams throughout the NFL in how they've had to prepare for the draft. Pete Carroll and John Schneider took questions from local and national media on Tuesday discussing everything from free agency, the challenges they've had to face in getting setting up ahead of the draft, as well as the differences in the evaluation process for prospects.
Schneider says the door isn't closed with Clowney, but they need to do a better job in three different phases of the pass rush including player acquisition, development and scheme. One area he's been happy with is their ability to bring in guys they targeted on the offensive line and how that adds to their flexibility with player selection in the draft.

Russell Wilson's April 15 contract date is likely a goal and not a deadline: Russell Wilson has set a deadline of April 15th to complete contract negotiations. But can it really be considered a deadline? If Wilson isn't planning to sit out offseason workouts or hold out into training camp, then the mid-April date should be called a goal rather than a deadline. by Seahawks Forever w/ Dan Viens
