Description

Amyl and the Sniffers is a punk rock band from Melbourne, Australia, that created quite a bit of buzz with their eponymous debut album released in 2019. The authentic and raw character of the music in their debut led the band to winning a ARIA for Best Rock Album and praise from critics and fans alike. We spoke with vocalist Amy Taylor and guitarist Dec Martens about their recently released second album 'Comfort To me', developing as a band, the themes on the album and Amy's lyrics, the songwriting process, missing the stage, channeling energy into other things, and a lot more! Interview by: Robin HignellSupport the show

While we operate mainly on YouTube and other video services, with this podcast we wan't to enable people to listen to a selection of both old and new interviews whenever and however they prefer. A short disclaimer: Because a lot of our interviews are conducted at festivals, music venues, hotels, restaurants, and the like, the quality of the audio isn't always in our full control, so please bare with us when the sound quality doesn't always match that of other podcasts. Having said that, we do want to provde the listener with as comfortable a listening experiences as possible, so not every interview that we do as FaceCulture will find its way to the podcast. All interviews we do are still available on www.youtube.com/faceculture. Thanks for your continued support!
