Description

Rick Witter is the frontman for British alternative rock band Shed Seven. The band was a part of the Britpop scene of the 90s, during which they released four top-20 albums in the UK. Their most successful album was 'A Maximum High' (1996) accompanied by the hit single 'Going For Gold'. The band broke up in the early 2000s but reformed some years later, and started releasing new music in 2017 with the album 'Instant Pleasures'.  Their latest album is A Matter of Time (2024) and we had a chat with Rick about the album, the second life of the band, an underdog mentality, working with Pete Doherty, songwriting, and a lot more! Interview by: Robin HignellSupport the showThank you for listening!
