Description

Back in 2016 I had the chance to sit down with American rapper G-Eazy when he was on tour in Amsterdam. We spoke about enjoying the city, his album When It's Dark Out, his eclectic musical upbringing, dealing with haters, Everything Will Be Ok, the power of music, and a lot more.On a side note, I want to commend Gerald (his real name) for his professionalism. I had the chance to speak with him on a separate occasion at a festival. Hip Hop festival are unfortunately notorious for artists cancelling last minute or not showing up for interviews. Out of the 8 interviews I had scheduled Gerald was the only one who I ended up talking to that day, even though he was the biggest name on the list. For a little music interviewer like me it showed great character from both him and his team and credit needs to be given where credit is due. By: Robin HignellSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/FaceCulture)

FaceCulture is a daily-updated music platform for in-depth interviews, live sessions, and a lot more with your favorite artists. While we operate mainly on YouTube and other video services, with this podcast we wan't to enable people to listen to a selection of both old and new interviews whenever and however they prefer. A short disclaimer: Because a lot of our interviews are conducted at festivals, music venues, hotels, restaurants, and the like, the quality of the audio isn't always in our full control, so please bare with us when the sound quality doesn't always match that of other podcasts. Having said that, we do want to provde the listener with as comfortable a listening experiences as possible, so not every interview that we do as FaceCulture will find its way to the podcast. All interviews we do are still available on www.youtube.com/faceculture. Thanks for your continued support!
