From the age of 7 Simone knew she wanted to be a singer, it was her calling and she did everything she could to pursue it. At 21 she moved to the UK to study and said to the University that she wanted to teach there. They told her to go away for two years and get some experience. Two years to the day later Simone returned with a list of all the experience she'd gained in that time.
Failure is feedback. No matter what you do in life, you will fail at something, you need to take on board what that experience is showing you about yourself and what you were trying to do. What feels true to you?
Whether you say yes or not, your body naturally wants to come forward towards what it desires. We have a natural response to yes or no.
Getting a no builds your character more than a yes, it allows you to move and refine your character for the next time. You can be disappointed but don’t let it stop you. You grow when you get knocked down and have the ability to get back up and go again.
