Originally from Chicago, Sakura has been working in the cosmetic industry as a clinical esthetician since 2002, She assists her clients by releasing emotional blockages and trauma patterns, which would help heal their skin. She studied hypnotherapy at Bastyr University and added hypnotherapy as well as other mind modalities to her practice.She owns Sakura Skin & Mind, her mission is to treat the inside while treating the outside. She combines healing modalities with clinical skincare, helping people find true love and assist them in overcoming rare illnesses, emotional blocks, ailments, or any mental or physical pain by loving themselves again.In December of 2015, Sakura was diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening autoimmune disorder called Pemphigus Vulgaris, which ironically presents itself on the skin. In the summer of 2017, Sakura experienced a flare that nearly claimed her life. But with the help of both Eastern and Western Medicine along with dietary changes, hypnotherapy, and strong support from her clients, friends, and family, Sakura was able to pull through. She not only cleared so much inflammation out of her body, but she also found her will to want to live her life again and practically healed herself. Her radio show “Love from the Hyp” spotlights amazing souls from around the world, their journey, and their healing wisdom and insight, in hopes of providing a resource for others who are suffering mentally, spiritually, emotionally, or physically.
