Marietta Carter-Narcisse is an internationally renowned educator and veteran celebrity Film and Television makeup artist who has department headed numerous shows including: A Jazzman’s Blues, Genius: Aretha, Rebel, Beaches remake, Sparkle, Malcolm X, Tina: What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Baby Boy, Boyz N The Hood, A Time To Kill, Whitney, which she received a Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild nomination, and numerous other.
Carter-Narcisse is a member of the Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild I.A.T.S.E Local 706, a voting member of the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science and The Television Academy. She holds a Master of Science degree in higher education, as well as valid cosmetology licenses in both California and Florida.
Marietta has online makeup classes that bridge the reality gap between what you think a career in Film and Television is like to what it really is. I took a class so I could get ready for an upcoming job and highly recommend. Class information is available at www.mvma.education.
