Description
In the old days, around the year 2014, a "travel influencer" was usually a blogger, who earned a decent amount of hits on their website, and some social media followers. But since then, travel influencing has changed alot, and now, there are more travel influencers than ever before.
So what goes into being a "travel influencer", and why does the concept sometimes leave a sour taste in our mouths? In this episode, Eulanda and Omo of Hey! Dip Your Toes In join Erin to discuss all the little details that go into creating a succesful brand and, their relationship with social media and travel after becoming influencers. Plus, we discuss the type of impact travel influencers have had over the last decade on travel trends, and how the role of travel influencers will adapt to our post-pandemic travel future.
