A continued second candid discussion about food and domestic life in Ancient Israel with Dr. Cynthia Shafer-Elliott from William Jessup University.Dr. Cynthia Shafer-Elliott is Associate Dean of Theology and Leadership at William Jessup University as well as holding a teaching position as a professor of Bible and Archaeology at the University. She is an experienced field archaeologist who has spent a number of years excavating and digging at a number of historical sites and tels in Israel. She is the author of the book, “The Five-Minute Archaeologist in the Southern Levant,” a user-friendly exploration of some basic concepts within archaeology as well as the techniques and methods used by archaeologists in the field of archaeological exploration.
