Description
The students who manage the student-led investment funds at Michigan Ross are just like normal students, except they carry an extra burden: They are giving actual money to actual businesses, and the school has a real stake in those businesses’ success because of their decisions.
In this episode, Ramu talks with three of those leaders about what it’s like to manage actual multimillion-dollar investment funds while studying for their MBA, what deals they’ve regretted, how they approach potential investments, and what the experience will mean as they enter their post-MBA careers.
We’ll hear from:
Shailly Prasad, Managing the Wolverine Venture Fund;
Alice Raymond, Managing the Social Venture Fund, and;
Matthew Raskind, Managing the Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund
