Puppy play biting is one of the most undesirable behaviors that every new puppy owner wants to get fixed. It cause some serious physical damage and frustration to the entire family. This is not related to dog aggression. Play biting has to do with the puppies bit inhibition, or how hard the puppy bites down on the human or other dog. The technique that I use with clients puppies is called "correct it, and redirect it". Simply put, you have to interrupt the puppies undesirable behavior and immediately redirect that behavior to something that you want instead. I explain it all in this podcast.
