Description

Dr. Jim Arcand, D.C. (Grants Pass, OR), Chiropractor, discusses the two basic forms of physical pain: acute and chronic. Acute pain, for the most part, results from disease, inflammation or injury to tissues. It is immediate and usually of short duration and a normal response to injury. Chronic pain is continuous pain that persists for more than three months. The cause is not always evident and can often interfere with a patient's quality of life, sleep and productivity. Second guest, Bob Fuhrmann (Wyoming), Education Director with Yellowstone National Park, discusses the majestic beauty of America’s first national park. Established in 1872, and located in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, Yellowstone possess the most spectacular natural features including Old Faithful and a collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers and hot springs, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (Part 1).
