Description

Film and TV Actor Nadine VelazquezNadine Velazquez’s first acting role was in a McDonald’s commercial. Since then she’s worked on the big screen with Jason Statham, Jet Li and Denzel Washington, among others. Her big break was the role of Catalina Aruca in the NBC hit series My Name is Earl and her most recent TV work was on ABC’s Queens, where she played Valeria “Butter Pecan” Mendez. Velazquez grew up in an overprotective home, where music was frowned upon and the family dynamic was a volatile one. At an early age, she promised herself that she would break away one day and live a much more exciting and fulfilling life.
