Jake Hatch began a Wednesday edition of the podcast with some thoughts on the latest with regards to conference expansion based on a conversation he had with an old friend/source that helped to lay out where things stand currently in the Big 12 and beyond

Jake then took some time to look at new Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark, who's doing work despite not even officially being installed as the conference commissioner as he looks to establish himself in his new post and help the Big 12 stay steady

Finally, the Big 12 college basketball scene is being forgotten by and large with the college football sphere driving conference expansion, but Jake explains that the Big 12's already strong college hoops scene could get even better with expansion
