Tuesday's podcast began with another position group preview as Jake Hatch took a look at the X-receiver position that will be headlined by Gunner Romney as he looks to ascend to alpha status with the departure of Dax Milne to the NFL, but there are other guys who will be looking to make their marks as well

The 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown continued with a look back at 1989 and the ascendance of Ty Detmer to the pantheon of great BYU quarterbacks. Detmer, just a sophomore, laid the groundwork for his finest overall season as a Cougar in 1990 with a standout campaign in 1989

Finally, the show wrapped up with another position group preview as Jake took a look at the new "JACK" position which appears to be a hybrid linebacker/defensive end role and will be manned by Pepe Tanuvasa, Uriah Leiatatua and Alex Muti, each of whom seem to be ideal fits for such a role
