The most welcoming man in Kansas City: Mark Sappington! Listen to Mark share his conversion -- from learning how to live a life of order amidst minor league baseball to beginning to cultivate a life of prayer!
Mark was born as the second of six kids, and learned discipline by cleaning toilets every week (only after mouthing off to his very pregnant mother). He went to college, and then played baseball professionally; all the while, being open and receptive to the mercy of the Lord. As he worked to cultivate a life of prayer, he learned to abide in the Lord. Mark eventually found his way back to Kansas City, learning how to be an adult after being cut from Major League Baseball.
