Locked on Cougars for January 18, 2019 began with a look back at the big wins for the BYU men's and women's basketball teams as they beat Pepperdine and #13 Gonzaga respectively. Jake Hatch shared his takeaways from the wins and what they mean for each team.
In the second segment, Hatch updated listeners on former Cougars in the pro ranks, both in basketball and football. He had update on the hoops players thanks to the work of Jay Yeomans with his updates at jmoneysports.com. He also previewed the AFC and NFC Championship games for guys now in the NFL.
In the final segment of the show, Hatch got the listeners the weekend schedule for all the BYU sports teams in action with a particularly busy Friday slate and plenty of games/matches for BYU fans to attend or tune into with "Quick Hits."
