It seems like every day a new skeleton falls out of the closets of Hollywood, but rarely does news break of something as high profile as that of Charles Voyde Harrelson, father of Woody and Brett Harrelson. Charles Harrelson was a hitman, a card shark, a womanizer, and maybe just maybe associated with the murder of JFK. He was convicted of two murders, Texas Rangers believe he killed dozens more, but one of those happened to be Federal Judge Joe Wood. The investigation that followed ranks second all time in total expenditure, only behind the JFK assassination, but in retrospect the case had more holes than swiss cheese. This is the story of a Texas outlaw, of the rise of gambling, of the mob, hypnosis, the Cubans, and one of the biggest stories never told. This is the story of Charles Voyde Harrelson. Guest Liza was seen most recently in the Judd Apatow movie The King Of Staten Island and is currently the host of That’s Messed Up: An SVU Podcast on Exactly Right Media. She has a half hour Special and album Glittercheese with Comedy Central and a half hour special on Netflix as past of The Degenerates. Liza is super proud of being featured on the prestigious Variety’s 2017 TOP 10 COMICS TO WATCH list. She’s also appeared Late Night with Seth Meyers, Chelsea Lately, This Is Not Happening, Horace and Pete, Lights out with David Spade, Adam Devine’s House Party, and lots of panel and game shows!
