Today I talk about the Blackstone Rangers AKA the Black P Stone Nation AKA EL Rukns and current members of the People’s Nation Gang alliance. Formed by two Chicago kids in the Woodlawn neighborhood, they became minor enforcers for older gangsters then took what they learned and pushed them out. Eugene “Bull” Hairston and Jeff “Prince” Fort ran the Woodlawn neighborhood. However, multiple jail stints brought the Stones to the attention of the world when Fort converted to Islam and began discussing a plan to destabilize the US government through domestic terrorism with Libyan dictator Gaddafi. Even with their leaders incarcerated, the gang continued to create factions, make alliances, and still distributes drugs and kill gang members in LA and Chicago.
