The pandemic has pushed some people to learn skills they might not have otherwise learned – dog grooming, for instance. When shelter in place orders around the world took effect, dog owners rose to the occasion. Our long haired dogs needed to be trimmed! The results were mixed. Author and award winning television producer, Shelley Ross, chronicled some of the pandemic cuts we gave our dogs in a charming book titled Scruffy: Our loyal pandemic pooches and the good, the bad, and the crazy haircuts we gave them. Proceeds from the book help fund Covid-19 treatment research from The Cure Alliance.
