When lockdown happened, so much changed for most of us. This includes our pets! Many became new pet owners. Animal Control and Welfare professional Shelly Meeks joins us to talk about ways to enrich our pets' lives as we've gone back to offices and classes after being home with them for nearly two years in many cases. Shelly saw the shelters she worked in empty out for the first time in her career when Covid-19 hit. When the world began to open up again, they filled back up. The change proved to be too much for some pets. Now there is a wait list for re-homes. In this episode, Shelly gives us some insightful tips on how to keep our pets' minds busy as we resume our packed away-from-home schedules so that the change is eased up for our beloved babies.
