Description

Join us as co-founders of Uncomfortable Oxford, Olivia Durand and Paula Larsson walk us through the history of international development and its entanglement with colonialism. We’ll be exploring the legacies that colonial practices have left behind, and the ways in which these legacies continue to be perpetuated by our institutional structures. In addition, we’ll be investigating how all this is intimately tied up with Oxford’s own history as a city and a university, and which directions we should be looking in, in order to address these issues for the future.
