Upon her experience working for the first time for MTV in Mexico, Eglantina discusses how we Latinos set our own barriers to cultural immersion, a phenomenon that has brought many advances in society.From this standpoint, Eglantina goes over her experiences, how different migrant and refugee communities are subject to discrimination around the world, something that touches her deeply. She goes on to discuss how society imposes certain stereotypes that we use to judge one another.But, “beware big bear”, there is always space for positive thinking, and that there is more that unites us than divides us. A partir de su experiencia trabajando por primera vez para MTV en México, Eglantina discute sobre cómo en muchas oportunidades somos nosotros mismos como comunidades latinas las que nos ponemos barreras para la integración cultural, fenómeno que ha logrado múltiples avances en las sociedades. Desde este punto de vista, Eglantina repasa desde sus vivencias, cómo diferentes comunidades de migrantes y refugiados son objeto de discriminación alrededor del mundo, tema que le afecta muy de cerca, avanzando a aspectos de cómo la sociedad nos impone muchas veces estereotipos por los que juzgamos a los demás.Pero “Ojo con el Piojo” que siempre hay espacio para pensar en positivo, y concluir que son más los aspectos que nos unen que los que nos separan.
