Description

Sam Jalloh has a remarkable story and an inspirational personality. Sam was born into poverty in Sierra Leone. As Civil War ripped through Sierra Leone, Sam encountered some horrific situations but his dream of playing tennis for for his nation and going on Tour kept him going. Sam now lives in England and as you’ll hear in this the first of two podcast interviews he has a truly remarkable and inspirational tennis journey - a story he tells in his book ‘How Tennis Saved My Life’.Adults Only: Sam’s story is a tennis story but it also a story of growing up in the midst of the destruction of Civil War. As such, my guidance would be it isn’t suitable for children. You may listen and decide otherwise but I just wanted to let you know.
