Let White Jesus, Go!: Reverend Dr. Jacqui Lewis is one of those people who transcends all of the categories we like to create - the first female and the first black senior pastor at a historic church in New York City that was founded in 1628. She speaks with pathetic truth. She doesn't shy away from what she calls fake Christianity and holds nothing back when fighting harmful theologies. At this moment, Christian nationalism, which has always been present in US history, is being unveiled. We need people who know the ways this ideology has taken shape and built power. And people who embody and live an alternative story. Reverend Dr. Lewis has the knowledge and clarity we have been and where we are. She has the vision to guide and give us hope.
