Scott chats with breaking artist Gashi to hear his incredible story of going from refugee runaway to multi-platinum recording artist working alongside talent like French Montana, Travis Scott, and Nipsey Hustle. The show begins with a conversation about life in quarantine, then transitions into Gashi’s humble beginnings in Kosovo and how he eventually landing in Brooklyn with his family. Scott touches on his own upbringing and first taste of success, then Gashi talks about how he dropped out of school and pursued music with his homeless peers. He outlines how he went from selling CDs in the street, meeting Scott early on, meeting Austin Rosen, and getting a record deal.
