Today we were joined by Mark Uyl, the Executive Director the MHSAA. Mark came on the show to talk about the facts and data behind the fact that these Winter sports should have no problem with getting back to play. #letthemplay has been gaining further steam as there's a rally set in Lansing on Saturday this weekend. This was our main focus of the day as we were joined by some great voices that are advocating for getting these young athletes back to play.
We were joined by Detroit Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Nikolai Vitti to get his thoughts on #letthemplay as a rally is set for Saturday in Lansing. Dr. Vitti and Huge talked about the data and how it truly needs to back what the State of Michigan is saying as it pertains to the return to play for our young athletes. We were also joined by the leader of the #letthemplay movement as their rally is set for Saturday 12-3pm in Lansing. She and Huge talked about the effects all of these delays are having on the younger athletes and what she and the movement plan on doing to get young athletes back to play.

We were joined by Forest Hills Northern Head Basketball Coach Joe Soules to discuss the #letthemplay movement as their rally is set for Saturday 12-3pm in Lansing. He and Huge talked about the effects all of these delays are having on his athletes and also spoke about how he thinks we should be getting the younger athletes back to play no later than next week, in his opinion.
