Description

TraceLink is the world's largest integrated digital supply network, providing real-time information sharing for better patient outcomes. Leading businesses trust the TraceLink Life Sciences Cloud to deliver complete global connectivity, visibility, and traceability of pharmaceuticals from ingredient to patient. A single point and click connection to the Life Sciences Cloud creates a supply chain control tower that delivers the information, insight, and collaboration needed to improve performance. It also reduces risk across global supply, manufacturing, and distribution operations. The TraceLink digital supply network is used by businesses across the globe to meet strategic goals in ensuring global compliance, fighting drug counterfeiting, improving on-time and in-full delivery, protecting the product quality and reducing operational cost. I take a deep dive around what's coming up in the pharmaceutical supply chain. I learn how TraceLink is digitizing the supply chain and how it is helping the pharma supply chain industry comply with new regulations. For example, the EU Falsified Medicines Directive and the US Drug Supply Chain Security Act. The company has been working since its inception to build the world's largest digital supply network, intending to build an interoperable system for the supply chain. This will also enable the tracking and tracing of counterfeit drugs – and increase patient safety as a result. TraceLink also recently announced that the FDA had approved its Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) pilot submission for network solutions. In the pilot, TraceLink will be leveraging blockchain, and digital recalls across its digital supply network and collaborating with participants from across the pharma supply chain to enhance patient safety while addressing challenging business processes. Paul Cianciolo, senior vice president of business management at TraceLink, joins me on my tech podcast. He reveals more about TraceLink's digital supply network for the pharma supply chain and its impact. Cianciolo is responsible for working collaboratively with customers to create, nurture, and innovative new solutions and services. All to help realize TraceLink's shared mission with partners to achieve end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain security and patient safety.
