Euromonitor's newest pet care research shows good growth is expected for 2017. Similar to previous year in constant or real terms (that is, without the impact of inflation) global value sales are expected to increase by 2%. Considering the current economic climate and increasing instability, this growth is quite good. The global marketplace is increasingly competitive with many mergers and acquisitions taking place over the past year as well as a significant shifts in terms of the retailing landscape.
